One of the most amazing things about this book are its characters. Kane stole my heart from the very beginning, with his tortured past and interesting mind. Rue is one of the most interesting characters I've read about - full of love, and life, with so many stories to tell- and only nine days to live.

I’ve never been one for poetry but the art Rue shared in this book cut me open and exposed things I didn’t know I could feel. It brought to the surface buried emotions I wasn’t expecting.
